While we had a shop in Alexandria near Green Square Station, Juliet campaigned heavily for safe pedestrian access across O’riordan Street. Her two year campaign was supported by the public, local politicians and the Sydney City Council and finally the RMS. It was finally successful in getting the crossings installed in July 2014. By then Wildwood had sold their Alexandria showroom but Juliet is so proud to have made this happen for the community.
Juliet was nominated by the Daily Telegraph for The Pride of Australia Award for her successful campaigns around Green Square including the fight against the pollution by waste demolition companies directly across the road from the Green Square Station until 2015.
