Old Marrickville Bridge Recycled Australian Hardwood
Recycled Australian hardwood dining table constructed with timber salvaged from footbridge built in the early 20th century.
Size: 1800 x 1000
This table is made from reclaimed Blackbutt timber from the Beaman Park footbridge in Marrickville, Sydney. Although no records remain, it is thought that the bridge dates back to the early 20th century. The bridge was demolished in 2016 and we were fortunate to be able to recover the timber from this small piece of history.
Photos don’t do our furniture justice. We recommend visiting one of our showrooms to see the true texture and warmth of our pieces. The smoothness of the finish and quality of materials can only be experienced in person.
