Custom Furniture:
That's right, not only can we custom make but we do custom make! In-fact a large portion of our custom is made to order. We begin with the 'why'; Why do you need this piece? Then 'where'; Where will it live? Don't forget the 'who'; Who will use it most often? And of course the 'what'; What do you want it to look like? What is the aesthetic? Will it be a feature in the space in occupies or will it be a wallflower?
After gathering the answers, we begin. Plans are drawn up; Will it have drawers? How many? Push to open and close? Open shelving? How wide? How tall? What kind of legs? Will it be fully timber? Is there any glass? What about cabinet doors? Do they slide? Will they be recessed? Diagrams are checked, amended (sometimes), redrawn, and approved. Now what? Timber selection!
